Attitude

The longer I live, the more I realize the impact of attitude on life. Attitude, to me, is more important than facts. It is more important than the past, the education, the money, than circumstances, than failure, than successes, than what other people think or say or do. It is more important than appearance, giftedness or skill. It will make or break a company... a friend... a home. The remarkable thing is we have a choice everyday regarding the attitude we will embrace for that day. We cannot change our past... we cannot change the fact that people will act in a certain way. We cannot change the inevitable. The only thing we can do is play on the one string we have, and that is our attitude. I am convinced that life is 10% what happens to me and 90% of how I react to it. And so it is with you... we are in charge of our Attitudes. I believe the single most significant decision I can make on a day-to-day basis is my choice of attitude. It is more important than my past, my education, my bankroll, my successes or failures, fame or pain, what other people think of me or say about me, my circumstances, or my position. Attitude keeps me going or cripples my progress. It alone fuels my fire or assaults my hope. When my attitudes are right, there is no barrier too high, no valley too deep, no dream too extreme, no challenge too great for me.

Learn from yesterday, live for today, hope for tomorrow.Albert Eintein

Went to the Fabulous Fords car show at Knotts this weekend. Here are some photos...

2012 Long Beach Grand Prix

I have the fortunate opportunity this year to be a crew member of eBay Motors Formula Drift Team.  The car was housed and built at the L_CON Facility in Garden Grove, California. I help build the car, doing most the metal fabrication in the interior as well as some exterior.  These parts included the dashboard, floor boards, radiator housing, small brackets for mounting various parts in the engine compartment, etc. I also help with various duties such as coolant system, and other mechanic duties. I even went as far as body work, and even cut big hole out of the hood so the intake piping would fit, hahaha. The engine is very strong pushing over 800 horse.  Louie from LCON is responsible for the beast of an intake manifold he built in an incredible 6 hours. By far one of the best, most under-credited fabricators I know and have the pleasure of calling my friend. Below are some pictures during the build and when the car hit the track for the first time.  Next stop is Atlanta Georgia. Again, I just want to say I feel blessed with this opportunity and am hoping to make the most of it and a great year.

New Shop Pics

I opened Flagship Society Tattoo Parlor out in Las Vegas back in July of 2011. After becoming bored with Las Vegas and not like being stuck in the desert, I decided to move back to California, to Garden Grove.  Bringing Flagship Society Tattoo Parlor back with me and merging into the already existing Flagship Society/L-CON Building. I have been back a little over a month and am loving the new location as well as being back around my friends. If you are looking to get tattooed, artwork drawn, or anything else you might think I would have fun doing, which leaves pretty much anything open, please feel free to email me at :: illwillink@yahoo.com Take care, and make sure you at least come check out the shop, here are a few pictures.
